President of Republic Leaves for Algeria

The President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Monday for Algeria to attend the 31st Arab League summit.

Upon his departure from Nouakchott international airport, His Excellency the President of the Republic was greeted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the two Ministers Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the Chairperson of the Regional Council of Nouakchott.

The President of the Republic is accompanied by the following delegation:

– Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
– Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic,
– Weddady Ould Sidi Haïba, Mauritanian Ambassador to Algeria
– Sidi Mohamed Ould Mohamed Abdallahi, permanent representative of Mauritania to the Arab League
– Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Vadhel, officer in charge of duties at the presidency of the republic
– Sidi Mohamed Ould Ghaber, officer in charge of duties at the presidency of the republic
– El Hassan Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
