President of Republic Congratulates Ukrainian Counterpart

On 23 August, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani the President of the Republic, sent the following message of congratulations to the President of Ukraine, His Excellency Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky, on the occasion of the celebration of his country’s National Day.
The message reads as follows:

“The celebration of your country’s National Day at a time when the Ukrainian people are going through a difficult period offers me the opportunity to express to your Excellency my warm congratulations while wishing a speedy end to the war in your country and a return to peace, security, and prosperity.
I would like to express to you our determination to work for the development of cooperative relations between our two countries in the mutual interest of our two friendly people.
