Commissioner for Human Rights Receives Member of European Parliament

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, received today, Tuesday, in his office in Nouakchott, the Chairperson of the Sub-Committee on Human Rights in the European Parliament, Ms. Maria Arena.

During the meeting, they reviewed areas of cooperation between our country and the European Union, and ways to enhance them, particularly in the areas of the Commission’s intervention.
