On 1 June in Hamburg, Germany, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Oil, Mines, and Energy, gave a presentation on investment opportunities in Mauritania, particularly in the field of hydrogen that the German-African forum made the theme of this year’s edition.
In his speech before the representatives of the three hundred German companies, Mr. Ould Mohamed Saleh stressed our country?s ambition to be a hub of integrated energy production and green minerals. He highlighted the privileges provided by the legal framework for investment in Mauritania, particularly the Electricity Code.
It should be noted that Mauritania has signed agreements with companies specializing in hydrogen to develop major projects to produce around 40 gigawatts by 2030.
