Minister of National Defense Receives Independent Observer of Mali Peace Agreement

On 19 May in Nouakchott, Mr. Hanana Ould Sidi, the Minister of National Defense, received Ms. Bisa Williams, the Independent Observer of the Mali Peace Agreement and the representative of the Carter International Center for Peace.

The meeting focused on issues related to the implementation of the agreement reached in 2015 in Algiers on peace and reconciliation in Mali, the general situation of Malian refugees in Mauritania, and security issues in the Sahel region.
