President of Supreme Court Receives UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery

On 11 May in Nouakchott, Mr. El Houssain Ould Naji, the President of the Supreme Court, received Mr. Tomoya Obokata, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss issues related to the mission of the UN rapporteur and the efforts made by the public authorities in the field of the fight against slavery on both legal and judicial levels.
