Minister of Social Action Receives UNFPA Delegation

On 15 April, Ms. Savia Mint N’Tahah, the Minister of Action s Social Affairs, Children, and the Family, received a delegation from the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) led by Ms. Argentina Matavel, the Fund’s Regional Director for West Africa.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the areas of cooperation between Mauritania and this UN body, particularly in areas related to the empowerment of women, the reduction of maternal mortality, and the fight against violence against women.
