Minister of Economic Affairs Meets With EIB Official

On 4 April, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, met with Maria Shaw-Barragan, the Director of Lending in Africa, Caribbean, Pacific, Asia, and Latin America at the European Investment Bank (EIB).

During the meeting, which took place in Madrid, the two parties discussed the cooperative relations between Mauritania and this financial institution, as well as the ways and means to further strengthen them.

It is noteworthy that this meeting took place on the sidelines of the general assembly of the Alliance for the Sahel. Mauritania is represented there by a large delegation, chaired by the Minister of Economic Affairs.
