Prime Minister: “I Will Form a Government Close to the Citizen”

On 30 March, the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, at the presidential palace, the resigning Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud, and asked him to form a new government.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked the President of the Republic for renewing his confidence in him. He affirmed that the next government would be close to the citizens and would work to materialize the ambitions of the President of the Republic.

Mr. Ould Bilal added that the meeting was an opportunity to evaluate the action of the resigning government. It also allowed diagnosing the situation in the country and the consequences of the crisis that the world is currently experiencing.
