National Gendarmerie 12th Contingent Leaves for Central Africa

The 12th contingent of the national gendarmerie left Nouakchott Wednesday for the city of Bangui, the capital of Central Africa, to work under the umbrella of the United Nations in the framework of the UN peacekeeping force in this brotherly country.

Upon its departure from Nouakchott-Oumtounsy International Airport, the unit was seen off by the Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, and the chief of the national gendermairie, Brigade Major General, Abdellahi Ould Ahmed Aicha.
