Agriculture, Fisheries Ministers Meet With Spanish Counterpart

On the sidelines of the visit of His Excellency, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazuani to the Kingdom of Spain, the Ministers of Agriculture and Fisheries and Maritime Economy, Messrs Sidina Ould Ahmed Ely and Dy Ould Zein held a meeting with Mr. Luis Planas, the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food.

The meeting dealt with ways to stimulate and intensify cooperation between the two countries.

The Spanish side expressed its readiness to keep pace with the development of the agricultural sector through technical support and encouragement of investments between the two countries.

His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture visited the Center for Modern Irrigation Technologies, which is considered one of the most important specialized centers in the world in the field.
