Mauritania’s Ambassador to Italy Presents Credentials

The Ambassador of Mauritania to Italy, Ms. Zeinebou Mint Eli Salem presented, Thursday in Rome, to the Italian President, Mr. Sergio Mattarella, her credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Italy.

The Ambassador conveyed to the Italian President the greetings of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and his wishes for progress and prosperity to the Italian people.
For his part, the Italian president instructed the Mauritanian diplomat to convey his greetings to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and his wishes for progress and prosperity to the Mauritanian people.

Mr. Sergio Mattarella wished Ms. Zeinebou Mint Eli Salem success in her mission, stressing the readiness of his country to provide the necessary support for the development of relations between the two countries.
