Mauritania Participates in Fifth UN Environment Assembly

On 28 February, the work of the Fifth UN Environment Assembly began in Nairobi, under the theme: “Strengthening Actions for Nature to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals”, with the participation of 193 States.

Mauritania was represented at this meeting by HE. Ms. Khadijettou M’Barak Fall, Mauritania’s Ambassador to Kenya with residence in Addis Ababa.

The five-day meetings will mark the UNEP fiftieth anniversary and the adoption of important resolutions relating to protecting the planet against pollution, especially plastic pollution.
