UNHCR Resident Representative Bids Farewell

On 15 February, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received the UNHCR Resident Representative to Mauritania.

Ms. Stavropoulou bid farewell to the Minister as her mission in Mauritania has ended.
The Minister thanked the UN official for the efforts she made to enhance relations between Mauritania and the UNHCR.

For her part, the UN official thanked Mauritania for facilitating its mission and for hosting and welcoming Malian refugees on its territory.
