COVID-19 Awareness-Raising Campaign in Nouakchott

The chairperson of the Nouakchott regional council, Ms. Fatimettou Mint Abdel Maleck, supervised, on Tuesday, the launch of an awareness-raising campaign on the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The regional councilors, who oversee the progress of the campaign, are responsible for distributing sterilizing products and mobilizing the populations of the three wilayas (regions) on the need to preserve their health by implementing preventive measures against the pandemic.

Ms. Fatimettou Mint Abdel Maleck said that teams will tour all the moughataa (districts) to affix stickers showing the dangers of the pandemic and distribute sanitizers.
