Mauritania Announces Support to KSA To Host Expo 2030

On 7 February, Mauritania announced its full support for the candidacy of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host the Expo 2030, as stated in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.

Here is the full text of the statement:

“The brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed to the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE) its candidacy for the organization of the 2030 World Expo in Riyadh.

On this occasion and given the particularity of the fraternal relations and the close cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and considering the leading Saudi role at the Arab and Islamic level, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania declares its full support to this candidacy and its firm will to mobilize the support of brotherly and friendly countries in its favor, to accompany the efforts of the global take-off of the Kingdom, and to strengthen the Arab presence in international economic circles.”
