Minister of Health Meets With WHO Representative

On 18 January, the Minister of Health, Mr. Sidi Ould Zahaf, received, in Nouakchott, Ms. Ndiaye Faty Charlotte, the Representative of the World Health Organization to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on cooperation between Mauritania and this international organization, particularly in the treatment of COVID-19 in light of the new wave of Omicron mutant.

The two parties also discussed priority areas for the Ministry of Health, particularly hospital reform, drugs, equipment, maintenance, and technical support.
