President of Republic Attends First Cultural Evening of Heritage Cities Festival

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghzouani, attended, Friday evening Wadane, the first cultural and artistic evening, organized as part of the festival of heritage cities.

The evening witnessed praises of the Prophet Mohamed, Peace Be Upon Him, and poems recalling the various historical roles played by the old Mauritanian cities, particularly Wadane, which was known for knowledge and self-sacrifice.
