Justice Minister Holds Discussions with UNHCR Representative

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ould Boya, held discussions with the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR in Mauritania, Ms. Maria Stavropoulou.

The UN official praised the Mauritanian government’s commitment to all international agreements related to refugee rights.

The two parties discussed ways to enhance the entrenched relations of cooperation between the Commission and the Mauritanian judicial authorities in implementation of these international agreements and local laws that govern the field.
