Islamic Affairs Minister Receives British Ambassador

The Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education, Mr. Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb, received Monday the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to our country, His Excellency Mr. Colin Wells.

The meeting focused on areas of cooperation between our country and the United Kingdom, particularly the fight against terrorism and extremism.

The Minister gave a presentation on the efforts made by the sector’s different departments in combating extremism, on his part, the Ambassador praised Mauritania’s efforts in combating this phenomenon that haunts the world, stressing his country’s readiness to cooperate with the ministry.
