Justice Minister Receives MINUSMA Delegation

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ould Boya, received Tuesday a delegation from the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), headed by Mr. El Ghassim Wane, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Mali and Head of MINUSMA.

During the meeting, the minister gave a presentation to the UN delegation on the main axes of the national strategy to combat terrorism and extremism.

On his part, the head of MINUSMA mission gave a detailed presentation on the scope of the mission’s interventions and the nature of the tasks entrusted to it, expressing his admiration for the Mauritanian strategy adopted to combat terrorism and extremism, wishing that it would be followed and benefited from by the region’s governments.
