Minister of Civil Service Receives Head of EU Delegation

Mr. Camara Saloum Mohamed, the Minister of Public Service and Labor, received, Tuesday in Nouakchott, Ambassador John Quilliam, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Mauritania.

The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, focused on cooperation relations between our country and the European Union, particularly in the areas of intervention of the Public Service and Labor Department.

The Ambassador expressed the EU’s readiness to support the Department in the implementation of its programs aimed at training State personnel and strengthening their capacities.

The European diplomat highlighted the pioneering role that Mauritania plays in its regional environment through sustained action which has enabled it to preserve its security and stability, which are preconditions for any progress and any sustainable development.
