Foreign Minister Meets With UNFPA Representative

On 22 October, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received, in Nouakchott, Mr. Saidou Kabore, the resident representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to Mauritania, whose mission is ending in Mauritania.

During the meeting, the Minister praised the representative’s action and the support his organization has been providing to our country in the field of reproductive health and issues of youth and women promotion.

For his part, the UNFPA representative praised the positive and cooperative attitude of the public authorities toward him during his presence in the country.
