Mauritania Participates in Italy-Africa Ministerial Conference

On 8 October, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, took part in the work of the 3rd session of the Italy-Africa ministerial conference in Rome.

Speaking to the conference, the Minister outlined the main lines of Mauritanian energy policy and the efforts made by the public authorities to provide low-income citizens with access to clean energy.

Mr. Ould Cheikh Ahmed then made a presentation of a giant project signed by Mauritania with the American company CWP in the field of hydrogen; a project that aroused great interest from the participants.
