President of Republic Arrives in Inchiri

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived in Akjoujt on Thursday evening, marking the beginning of a working and informational visit to the Inchiri region.

Upon his arrival at Akjoujt Airport, the President was received by the Wali of Inchiri, Mr. Moulaye Idriss Ould Sass Ould Guig; the Commander of the National Army Training Center in Akjoujt, Colonel Mohamed Mahmoud Sidi El Mokhtar Bneijara; the President of the Inchiri Regional Council, Mr. Cheikh Malaïnine Abdi El Gharabi; the Hakem of Akjoujt, Mr. Mohamed Vall Ould El Bou; the Mayor of Akjoujt, Mr. Dahi Ould El Mamy; and the constituency’s Member of Parliament, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Mohamed El Hacen. He was also welcomed by the regional commanders of the military forces and security services.

Following his arrival, the President reviewed units of the armed forces, which rendered military honors, before greeting the local elected officials, senior administrators, and dignitaries who had gathered to welcome him.

This visit aims to assess the region’s overall situation, oversee the implementation of various development programs and projects, and directly engage with local residents to understand their aspirations and address their concerns.
