Foreign Minister Holds Discussions with Maldivian counterpart

His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, held discussions on Thursday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with Her Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Ms. Iruthisam Adam, on the sidelines of the emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

The discussions focused on cooperative relations between Mauritania and the Maldives, ways to strengthen and develop them to serve mutual interests, and an exchange of views on several regional and international issues.
