Foreign Minister Holds Talks With UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, met, on Monday in New York, United States of America, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Sheikh Shakhbout ben Nahyan ben Mubarak Al Nahyan, Emirati Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in the common interest of the two brotherly people.

The meeting was attended by HE Mr. Sidi Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, Permanent Representative of our country to the United Nations, and Mr. Mohammed Lamine Moulaye Ely, Director of Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
