President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott

On 20 April, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from Dakar, after participating in the tenth edition of the Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa, at the invitation of the Senegalese President, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

Upon his arrival at Nouakchott–Oumtounsy International Airport, the President of the Republic was welcomed by Mr. Moctar Ould Djay, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ould Boya and Ms. Aissata Ba Yahya, Ministers-advisers at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Soueidatt, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, Major General Mohamed El Mokhtar Cheikh Ould Emmenni, Mr. Hamoud Ould M’hamed, the Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic, the Wali (Governor) of Nouakchott West, and Ms. Hawa Sidibe, the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region,.

The President of the Republic was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including:

– Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic,
– Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, Minister of Defense, Retirees and Children of Martyrs’ Affairs,
– Mr. Mohamed Abdallahi Ould Outhmane, Ambassador of Mauritania in Dakar,
– Mr. Emmemme Ould Biïbate, Ms. Lalya Kamara, and Mr. Cheikh Ould Bedda, Advisers at the Presidency of the Republic,
