President of Republic Receives UPR MPs for Brakna Region

The President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani, received, Thursday evening at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, the MPs of the Union for the Republic (UPR) party for the Wilaya of Brakna.

The meeting revolved around:

1- The role of the legislative power in promoting democracy, building a state of institutions, and respecting the principle of separation of powers.

2- Consecrating the representative role of MPs by listening to the problems and concerns of their constituencies.

The meeting was attended by Messrs.:

– Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, Director of the President’s Cabinet.

– Sidi Mohamed Sidi Jaafar, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic
– Jamal Ould El Yadali, head of UPR parliamentary group.
