The main meeting hall of the Equity Party hosted a high-level political talks session on Friday eveing, chaired by the head of the Party, Mr. Sidi Ahmed Ould Mohamed, alongside Jin Chin, Minister of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, who is visiting our country at the head of a senior party delegation, at the invitation of the insaf Party.
The session was opened with a speech by the President of the Unsaf Party, in which he affirmed the depth and strength of the relations between the Justice Party and the Chinese Communist Party, characterized by mutual political trust and continuous coordination. In this context, he also highlighted the strong Mauritanian-Chinese relations and the distinguished level of relations between the leaders of the two countries, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, and His Excellency Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The party leader clarified that Mauritania has always been a reliable partner for China, with a steady and supportive stance on various issues of common interest. He praised the significant development that cooperation relations between the two countries have reached in multiple fields, especially economic and developmental, serving their shared interests and strengthening the bonds between the two friendly peoples.
For his part, Minister Jin Xin expressed his deep appreciation for the warm welcome, affirming that Mauritania holds a prominent place among the priorities of the foreign policy of the Chinese Communist Party, and praising its political stability and rapid economic growth, which, in his words, reflect clear leadership vision and promising development choices. He confirmed China’s readiness to support this developmental path and to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various strategically significant areas.
The Chinese minister also highlighted the level of party-to-party relations between the two parties, considering them a fundamental pillar for strengthening the partnership between the two countries and a fertile field for exchanging expertise and experiences in governance, development, and capacity building.
The session concluded with a joint affirmation of the importance of continuing consultations and coordination, and strengthening party relations in a way that serves the strategic partnership between Mauritania and China.
