Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque gives a Lecture at the Saudi Mosque in Nouakchott

Cheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi, imam of the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH), gave a lecture this Wednesday evening, as part of his visit to our country, at the King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Mosque, known as the Saudi Mosque.

At the beginning of this lecture, the imam praised the Mauritanian scholars and their madrasas, emphasizing that he had studied under several Mauritanian scholars.

He explained that Almighty Allah has honored human beings and favored them with knowledge, citing in support a number of Quranic verses and honorable hadiths.

He specified that Allah has distinguished this noble nation through the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and revealed to it the best of books, which is a miracle, emphasizing the importance of purifying the soul within human beings, explaining that purification, according to linguists, means both cleansing and growth.

Attending the conference were the legal advisor to the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education, the director of mosques, as well as the delegation accompanying the imam of the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH).
