Minister of Economic Affairs receives Delegation from Germany

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, Mr. Abdallah Ould Sidia, receives, on Wednesday morning in Nouakchott, a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany, including His Excellency Mr. Florian Reindel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mauritania, and the head of the delegation from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Mr. Christoph Rau, Director for Africa.
Discussions focused on mechanisms to strengthen partnership in economic areas, in line with our country’s development policies aimed at achieving rapid, comprehensive and sustainable growth.
The partnership between the two countries was reviewed, the effectiveness of its mechanisms was assessed, and ways to develop and strengthen it were explored.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Yacoub Ould Ahmed Aicha, and the Director General of Finance and Economic Cooperation, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould El Nani.
