President of Republic Leaves for Saudi Arabia

On 23 October, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, left Nouakchott for Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative, to be held on 27 October 2025.

The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure at Nouakchott International Airport “Oumtounsy” by His Excellency Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay, Prime Minister, Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ben Boya and Ms. Aissata Ba Yahya, Minister Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Soueidatt, Minister of Justice, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, Minister of Defense and Affairs of Retirees and Children of Martyrs, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, Major General Mohamed Mokhtar Cheikh Meni, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Ms. Gandiga Fatimata, Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, Mr. Mrabih Rabou Ould Bounena Ould Abidine, Wali of Nouakchott West, and Ms. Fatimetou Mint Abdel Maleck, President of the Nouakchott Region.

His Excellency, the President of the Republic, is accompanied by a large delegation, including the following:
