President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott

On 23 October, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from the Moughataa of Rosso. He supervised the launch of the national vegetable farming campaign for the 2025-2026 season. He also laid the foundation stone for the “Secam” canal project.

His Excellency, the President of the Republic, was accompanied on this visit by a large delegation, including:

– Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty.

– Mr. Ahmed Ould Bahini, Officer in charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.

– Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Fadel, Officer in charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic.

– Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
