Director General of AMI meets French Ambassador

The Director General of the Mauritanian Information Agency (AMI), Mr Mokhtar Malal Dia, received the French Ambassador to Mauritania, Mr Emmanuel Bousnier, at his office in Nouakchott on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Ambassador was briefed on the Agency’s work, its history and its media activities. The two parties also exchanged views on ways to strengthen relations between the official Mauritanian news agency and the relevant French media, particularly in the areas of training, education and the exchange of expertise.
They also discussed France’s experience and advanced capabilities in the field of media and technology.
