New Bilateral Memorandum Signed Between Mauritania and the United Kingdom

A memorandum of understanding between Mauritania and the United Kingdom was signed today, Wednesday, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nouakchott.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Mauritania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, and Lord Collins, the UK’s Minister of State for African Affairs.

The memorandum aims to support British exports in key sectors, including road infrastructure, water, desalination, energy, and electricity.
