President of the Republic holds Meetings with Several Presidents and Directors of Major Japanese Companies.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held meetings today, Wednesday, on the sidelines of his participation in the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) being hosted in Yokohama, with a number of presidents and directors of major Japanese companies, including ‘Saraya’, ‘Hanwa Holdings’, ‘Jawbnatona’, ‘Toyota’, and ‘Tseisho’. During the meeting, ways to enhance investments in promising sectors in our country and to develop technical cooperation were discussed.

The meeting witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement, which contributes to supporting the economic development process and opens new horizons for Mauritanian-Japanese partnership.
