UNPM Chairman Receives Senegalese Ambassador

Mr. Mohamed Zeine El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Chairman of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers (UNPM), received, Wednesday in Nouakchott, Mr. Moustapha N’Dour, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Mauritania.

The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation between Mauritanian and Senegalese employers and ways to strengthen exchanges between the private sectors of the two brotherly countries.

During the talks, UNPM chairman made a presentation on the great investment opportunities in Mauritania and the efforts made by the public authorities under the leadership of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, to improve the business and investment climate, the most important of which was the announcement of the creation of the Higher Investment Council in Mauritania.

For his part, the Senegalese ambassador said he was proud of the development of the level of cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries in accordance with the directives of the two leaders and of the promising prospects offered by the expected benefits of future joint projects that economic actors must support.
