President meets with Representatives of the Mauritanian Community in the United States

H.E President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani met Thursday evening in Washington with representatives of our community residing in the United States of America.

H.E the President of the Republic opened the meeting with welcoming remarks, then opened the floor for the representatives of the community offices to present their interventions and review the most important concerns and proposals related to their conditions and aspirations.

In a gesture that reflects the President of the Republic’s keenness to listen to all opinions, he instructed him to involve a group of community members who had organized a protest outside the hotel, to be part of the meeting and express their views freely, stressing that all voices are respected and heard.
