Embassy of the State of Kuwait organizes a Reception on the Occasion of the 64th Anniversary of its National Day

The Embassy of the State of Kuwait held a reception on Tuesday evening at the Azlay Hotel in Nouakchott on the occasion of the sixtyfourth anniversary of the National Day of the State of Kuwait.

The government was represented at the ceremony  Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget,. Codioro Moussa N’genore, Minister of Mission in charge of the Presidency of the Republic, Ahmed Salem Ould Mohamed Vadel, and Advisor to the Prime Minister in charge of Political Affairs, Hindou Mint Ainina.

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Mauritania, HE Mr.  Ibdah Maked Al-Dosari, stressed in a speech on the occasion that the organization of this ceremony in Mauritania (the country of Chinguetti) is a clear evidence of the depth of the existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing that these relations are of great interest to the leaders of the two countries, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh ElGhazouani, and His Royal Highness Sheikh Meshal AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.

He said that these relations are based on solid foundations of mutual respect and constructive cooperation, noting that they have witnessed remarkable development in various fields.

He said that the two brotherly countries share a common history and convergence of views on regional and international issues, especially with regard to Arab issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.

He pointed out that what unites Mauritania and Kuwait is more than diplomatic relations, but rather a brotherly bond based on solidarity and cooperation in various fields.
