Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, held a meeting, on Tuesday in Nouakchott, with members of the higher committee for the follow–up of the commitments of the Sahel Coalition roadmap.
The meeting brought together the Ambassador, Head of the European Union Delegation to our country, HE Mr. Giacomo Durazzo, HE the Ambassador of France, Mr. Robert Moullié, HE Mr. Jesus Santos Aguado, Ambassador of Spain, as well as the official spokesman for the Alliance for the Sahel, and the resident representative of the World Bank in our country, Ms. Christina Santos.
During the meeting, all Mauritania’s commitments within the framework of the Sahel Coalition’s roadmap, were approved.
Minister of Economic Affairs recalled the need to expand the joint technical committee to ensure the follow up on common commitments, stressing the importance of expanding the fourth pillar of the roadmap of commitments of the coalition for development to take into account the country’s five-year development plan.
