Minister of Foreign Affairs represents President of the Republic at African Development Agency Meeting

HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, participated on behalf of H.E. President of the Republic and rotating Chairperson of the African Union (AU), Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, on Monday, via video conference, in the 42nd meeting of the Steering Committee of Heads of State and Government of the African Development Agency (NEPAD).

The meeting aims to strengthen joint efforts to coordinate and develop effective mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the implementation of development plans in the African continent, and exchange views on developing efforts to achieve the African Union’s 2063 Agenda for Development, entitled “Accelerated Implementation Plan”.
