APIM Director General Meets with PME Executive Bureau

The Director General of the Agency for the Promotion of Investment in Mauritania (APIM), Ms. Aissata Lam, received, Wednesday morning in Nouakchott the executive bureau of the Mutual for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), chaired by Mr. Sidi Mohamed Abdel Kader.

During the meeting, the delegation, which welcomed the creation of the APIM, seized the opportunity to request its support and accompaniment in the accomplishment of its mission for Mauritania’s economic development and job creation.

This meeting also allowed the organization to present its demands in terms of appropriate funding tools.

Ms. Aissata Lam recalled the project for an investment fund dedicated to SMEs, being prepared by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
