First Lady Arrives in Kaedi

The first lady, Dr. Mariem Fadel Dah, arrived this morning, Monday, in the city of Kaedi, at the start of a visit during which she will supervise the launch of the activities of the second phase of the project for women’s empowerment and demographic dividend in the Sahel in Mauritania.

The first lady was received at Kaedi Airport by the Wali of Görgol, Mr. Ahmedna Ould Sidebbe, the Ministers of Economic Affairs and the Promotion of the Productive Sectors and Health, the Governors of Hodh El Gharbi, Assaba , Brakna and Guidimagha, the heads of their councils, the commander of the Seventh Military Region, the deputies of the state of Gorgol in the National Assembly and its elected officials, the administrative and security authorities, and a number of dignitaries and heads of interests regional state.
