Health Minister returns to Nouakchott from Berlin after Participation in World Health Summit 2024

The Minister of Health, Mr. Abdallah Ould Wedih, returned Wednesday morning to the

capital Nouakchott, coming from the Federal Republic of Germany.

This is after his participation in the World Health Summit 2024, which was held in Berlin earlier this week, under the theme “Building confidence for a healthier world”

The current edition of the World Health Summit 2024 brought together many international ministers and experts, representatives of international initiatives in the field of health, scientists, private sector actors, and civil society activists from around the world to discuss a vision for the future based on innovative solutions for better health and well-being for all.

The World Health Summit in Berlin 2024 focused on topics including health emergencies and preparedness, digital health and artificial intelligence, antimicrobial resistance, climate change and health, and women’s health.
