President of Republic Takes Part in G-5 Sahel Presidents’ Meeting in Paris

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, took part, on Monday in Paris, in a high-level meeting of heads of state of the G-5 Sahel countries.

This meeting is held in preparation for the participation of the Group’s leaders in the summit, which the French capital will host tomorrow on financing African economies.

The meeting was attended by:

– Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;

– Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors;

– Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic.
