Nouakchott, 02 October 2020 (AMI)- Justice Minister M. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ould Boyé offered, on Friday at the Embassy of Kuwait in Nouakchott, the condolences of the people and governement of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the freindly people and governement of Kuwait, following the death, last Tuesday,of the Emir of the State of Kuweit, His Highness Cheikh Sabah al- Jabir Al-Sabah.
The minister wrote in the condolences register:
The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has learnt with emotion and great sadness the death of the great leader, his Highness Cheikh Sabah al- Jabir Al-Sabah.
With his passing, a flame of just opinion has been extinguished and the Arab nation has lost a wise ruler, having at heart the issues of the Arabic and Islamic Ummah. He was also a voice believing in reconciliation and fraternity.
We bid farewell to his Highness as we do to the great men whose qualities remain a torch of which we enlighten the ways of rapprochment and the promotion of the Arab Man.
On behalf of the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, I offer our condolences to the brotherly people of Kuwait and its government following the passing such a great leader.
The death of his Highness also represents a great loss for the all Arab and Islamic nations.
We implore Allah, the Almighty, to surround him with mercy and host him in Saint paradise.
and to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the ambassador of Kuwait in Nouakchott, his Excellency Mr. Khaled Mohamed Al Sheibani.
