Regarding the first meeting, organized on Wednesday morning in Lekseïba, the candidate of the Alliance for Justice and Democracy/Renewal Movement, thanked his supporters for the availability and commitment they displayed.

In a speech for the occasion, he criticized the outcome of the current regime, like the other regimes that preceded it, reminding his audience that it is time for the latter to give way to someone more competent in dealing with the accumulated problems.

Mr. Bocar Ba then reviewed his vision for Mauritania, which is mainly based on social justice, the fight against entrenched corruption, the consolidation of peace, and the improvement of the living conditions of citizens.

In Ndyokoudy, a locality in the department of Lekseïba, the candidate held, Wednesday afternoon, a meeting with the residents focused on the challenges they face, particularly in terms of access to health, drinking water, and civil papers, regarding which, once elected, he undertook to transfer their management to the municipalities which are in direct contact with the citizen.

On the way to Kaedi, the candidate’s delegation also made a stop at the locality of Ganki, where it chaired an electoral meeting organized in the village square, where the member of the coalition, Mr. SambaTioyel Ba, stressed that their candidate proposed a social project, specifying that his term, in the event of victory, will be of the youth and for the youth. He called on the supporters of the coalition to massive mobilization to ensure the election of their candidate.

For his part, the candidate thanked the support shown by the inhabitants of Ganki, indicating that, if he is elected, he will lead a judicious fight against all forms of injustice and exclusion.
