Minister Secretary General of Presidency Represents President of Republic at International Conference on Gaza

On 11 June, in Jordan, Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, representing His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union, participated in the International Conference on Emergency Humanitarian Response for Gaza.

The conference, attended by several heads of state, heads of government, and officials of international humanitarian and relief organizations, aims to identify ways to strengthen the international community’s response to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza,

identify mechanisms and steps for an effective response, operational and logistical needs, and commit to coordinating a unified response to the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

In a speech delivered for the occasion, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to the heads of state and government participating in the conference, expressing his

deep thanks to the government and people of Jordan for their warm welcome and hospitality, as well as for the successful organization of this conference.
