Foreign Minister Receives Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire

The minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received Tuesday in Nouakchott, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Mauritania, Mr. Touré Séko.

The meeting discussed the long-standing bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them to serve their common interests.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the conditions of the Mauritanian and Ivorian communites in the two countries, which play a pivotal role in promoting rapprochement between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador, Director General of the Directorate of Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry, Mr. Mohamed Elhanshi Elkettab and Mr. Cheikh Naji, Head of Department at the same Directorate.
